Hi! I’m Joshua Bryant and I am a Senior Software Engineer with over 11 years of experience in web development. I specialize in building and maintaining WordPress websites, as well as developing custom plugins and themes. I am also proficient in JavaScript, React, and NodeJS.

I am currently working at Dow Jones as a Senior Software Engineer, where I am responsible for developing and maintaining Gutenberg blocks for a headless implementation of WordPress across multiple Dow Jones publications including The Wall Street Journal., MarketWatch, Barrons, Mansion Global, and others.

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Senior Web Developer at Wake Forest University. During my tenure there, I managed a WordPress network of 449 websites, 20 custom themes, 54 custom plugins, 60 third-party plugins, and over 8,000 users.

I am well-versed in various technologies including PHP, Composer, PSR Standards, JavaScript, React, jQuery, NodeJS, LAMP Stack, CSS / Less / Sass, HTML/HTML5, JSON, XML, MySQL, MSSQL, AWS, API Gateway, Cloud 9, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, PHP Storm, Grunt / Gulp.
